Linux Record and Go Live Fixes, Unattended Live Lab
An overnight Linux test session drove most merges, unblocking Go Live, Record, and preview on Linux. The other signal is new infrastructure: an off-by-default unattended live lab for scheduled live testing, plus Activity and Buddy…

Weekly Recap - Live Interaction Matures and Streaming Gets Honest
Videorc shipped 50 pull request items and 30 commits focused on live-show reliability. The pattern is completeness in the Stream Manager and honest failure handling in the streaming pipeline, capped by rapid releases to 0.9.141.
-
Instant Captions and Sources Rebuild Ship
Two releases in two days delivered a Sources tab rewrite and streaming live captions, plus a preview fix and a plan for real YouTube live testing. The pattern is lower latency and cleaner UX, shipped dark with fallbacks.
-
Sources Rebuild and Preview Polish
The Sources tab gets a full UX rebuild to fix a stretched single-column layout, while a docked preview fix removes a grey rim around video. A separate optional change would erase deleted chat remnants from the local database file.
-
Official Brand Icons and Double Release
Videorc replaced home-made YouTube and X logos with official brand kits to resolve compliance issues, then shipped desktop 0.9.138 and 0.9.139 in the same day. An open proposal for a named Golem companion signals the next major feature.
-
Dead Destinations Reconnect, Twitch Activity Gets Paid Interactions
Yesterday's stream failures drove today's fixes: a dead YouTube leg that silently stayed On Air now reconnects and reports, and missing Twitch bits and channel point redemptions now reach Activity. Those changes shipped in desktop 0.9.137.
-
Rapid 0.9.136 Supersede and Separate Recordings
Desktop moved from 0.9.135 to 0.9.136 within the hour to ship a Stream Manager scroll fix, while a new proposal would save separate Screen and Camera files. The pattern is fast release churn plus editor-focused recording flexibility.
-
Stream Manager Goes Live and YouTube 4K Fix Ships
Stream Manager gained auto-show highlights, GIF rendering, member tinting and named markers, while YouTube 4K preparation and stream quality were fixed across desktop releases 0.9.132 through 0.9.134.
